A good presentation is half the battle:

Every presentation, every meeting counts – become a true superhero in every Teams meeting with Microsoft PowerPoint!!!

It’s a secret: the world of work has changed. Since coronavirus and the start of the pandemic in 2020, we have been spending more than twice as much time in meetings on average. So it’s high time to develop more flexible forms of collaboration to make the new working day easier for employees. With Microsoft 365, you not only bring in more quality, but also create the opportunity for shorter and more spontaneous meetings. In order to still get the work done, users rely on asynchronous channels such as Microsoft Teams chats.

Microsoft responds and makes meetings and presentations even more hybrid

Microsoft wants to support the new working methods and models in the future and optimise the resources provided: whether ideal moderation conditions or asynchronous collaboration across different time zones… They have set themselves the goal of expanding and optimising the existing offerings and also want to enable efficient meetings, including exciting meetings and visible work results.

Cameo

Last year in September, Microsoft set a decisive milestone with Cameo: the solution that allows you to seamlessly insert Teams camera feeds into PowerPoint presentations. However, you decide how and where the feed should appear in your slides – PowerPoint simply provides suitable layouts for optimal presentation. The Cameo option will be available to the general public in the second quarter of 2022.

Recording the PowerPoint presentation

The new recording function in PowerPoint also allows Microsoft to share on-demand videos. In this way, team members can watch the presentation again at their leisure or recall the most important content – at a time that suits them best. PowerPoint Recording Studio is already generally available.

PowerPoint meets Teams

Of course, you still have the option of presenting your PowerPoint directly and easily in Microsoft Teams. Share the file via PowerPoint Live in Teams.

The Microsoft presentation coach: tips and tricks for the presenter

The presentation coach in Microsoft Teams will be available in the second quarter of 2022: it gives tips and feedback on the pace of speaking, provides a fallback in the event of interruptions from the audience and reminds the presenter to make direct eye contact with meeting participants.

Microsoft Whiteboard for creative minds

Meetings are often a collaboration space. Ideas are developed together and problems are solved as a team. Many users already rely on Microsoft Whiteboard and use it as a workspace for visual collaboration. It offers many functions for dynamic visual collaboration in teams; the whiteboard offers sufficient templates and provides contextualised responses. The tool is easy to use even during meetings and can be shared with external colleagues in Teams meetings.
