The CoPilot in Dynamics 365 Sales is an AI-supported assistant that has been specially developed to efficiently support sales employees in their daily tasks. It is integrated into the Dynamics Sales user interface and utilises data from Microsoft 365 (e.g. Outlook, Teams, OneNote) as well as CRM data from Dynamics itself.
What exactly does the CoPilot do?

Email summaries and suggested responses
CoPilot can analyse incoming customer emails and automatically create summaries and reply suggestions.
Example:
A customer writes a long e-mail with several questions about prices, delivery times and service contracts. CoPilot recognises the key points and suggests a structured response that sales employees can adapt and send directly.
Meeting summaries
After a Teams meeting, CoPilot automatically creates a summary, including action points and decisions. The data is linked directly to the respective customer contact or sales opportunity.

After a strategy meeting with a potential new customer, CoPilot creates a short memo with the most important statements and immediately suggests the next steps (e.g. preparation of an offer, follow-up appointment).
Analyse sales opportunities
CoPilot can analyse sales opportunities, highlight risks and suggest next steps. It recognises, for example, whether important activities are missing, deadlines have been exceeded or communication is stalling.

If no customer interaction has been documented for a sales opportunity for a fortnight, CoPilot points this out and suggests an email or phone call as the next step.
Summaries of customer files
At the touch of a button, CoPilot summarises the current status of a customer contact or sales opportunity. This saves time when preparing for meetings or when handing over to colleagues.

A new colleague takes over an existing customer. CoPilot provides a brief overview of previous activities, open offers and recent interactions.
