Microsoft’s Bridge to the Cloud 2 (BttC2) promotion is designed to aid current on-premises Dynamics customers move to the Dynamics 365 online portfolio of products. BttC2 gives customers the ability to obtain discounted cloud licenses through the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program.
How Long Does the Promotion Run For?

Am I Eligible for the Promotion?
You’re eligible for the BttC 2 promotion if you meet ALL the following criteria:
- BttC2 is open to Dynamics on-premises customers with an active Enhancement Plan (EP).
- Your annual Cloud Service Provider (CSP) cost after discounts have been applied must be greater than or equal to the annual on-premises EP cost.
- You must be new to the Dynamics online SKU
- You must have deployed on-premises system(s) before 01/09/2022
What Does the BttC2 Promotion Entail?
Your active Enhancement Plan (EP) or the fees (EG) of your on-premise system are converted into discounted cloud licenses, giving you full access to Dynamics 365 Business Central Cloud, which you can use to its full extent, parallel to your current system. Plus, customers who apply for the offer before their renewal date will benefit from monthly payments instead of one lump sum for the Enhancement Plan, making the transition to Dynamics 365 Business Central Cloud even more attractive.
Bridge to the Cloud 2 Advantages
Customers migrating to Dynamics 365 Business Central will get free concurrent users for high ratios, as well as dual use rights for the latest version of Dynamics 365 Business Central for the duration of the promotion.
How Does it Differ From the Previous Promotion?
With Microsoft’s first Bridge to The Cloud promotion, which concluded at the end of 2022, only on-premises Business Central, NAV, GP and SL clients were eligible. With Bridge to the Cloud 2 however, the promotion pertains to all on-premises products in the Dynamics portfolio, including AX, Dynamics 365 for Operations, and Dynamics CRM.
The level of discount being offered has been reduced, going from 60% down to 40%, and the term limit will now be set at three years, giving greater flexibility.
